Overview
Set along the River Nore above its namesake city, Kilkenny Castle has stood for over 750 years. Today, much of the interior has undergone a Victorian makeover while the extensive grounds bustle with local wildlife.
Wander through the terraced rose garden or delve deep into the woodlands, then find the teahouse for a slice of cake and a hot drink.
