Overview

Loving the fashion for fancy canned fish? Conserveira de Lisboa is the pilgrimage for you. Family-owned since 1930, these canned fish specialists were originally known as Mercearia do Minho, and for almost a hundred years they've offered personalised service and artisanal products.

Shelves are stacked high with the best quality canned fish and preserves, each one beautifully packaged, holding Portuguese treasures of the sea within. Conserveira de Lisboa has three of its own three: Tricana (anchovies, tuna, codfish, stuffed squid, fish eggs and more, in oils, sauces, spices and aromatics); Minor (small fishes and fish pastes); and Prata Do Mar (fish fillets and mousses). Located near the Terreiro do Paço Square, right in the city, it's the perfect place to stock up for an afternoon picnic by the water.
