Immersivus Gallery
A multi-sensory digital art gallery displaying the dazzling works of Frida Kahlo, Monet, Klimt and more.
Overview
Following the success of immersive gallery events in Porto, Immersivus Gallery in Lisbon transforms the Mãe D'Água das Amoreiras Reservoir into a canvas for a 360-degree light show projection. It's a whole new way to experience art, through dynamic, monumental illumination cast across a reclaimed urban landscape.
These immersive art shows by Portugal Agenda have sometimes been showcases of the works of specific artists, themes or historical periods (such as ancient Egypt), where paint, canvas, documents, photographs and various media are resolved into a light show that plays across a space of unusual shape and size, including multiple rooms.
The non-invasive installation piece is accompanied by audio, or in the case of musical composers, created around the audio experience for full sensory immersion. Challenge your perception with this unusual artistic experience.
