Overview
An industrial space reclaimed, LXFactory lives in the sprawling 23,000 square metre area that was the factory complex of the Company of Wiring and Fabricos Lisbonense, constructed in 1846.
This mixed-use space is home to over 50 shops, restaurants and bars, as well as offices, studios, an architecture firm, a wellness clinic and more. It's a regular venue for fashion shows, art events and musical performances.
There's even an on-site hostel, so you can stay amid this creative and mercantile renaissance in Alcântara. Then, every Sunday, there are the outdoor LXFactory markets, filled with independent creators of clothing, jewellery, bags, ceramics, artworks, games and handcrafted leather goods.
