The world is changing quickly and so is Melbourne's hospitality scene. While pubs, restaurants and cafes have (once again) been forced to stop in-house service, a lot of them have made the switch to takeaway and home delivery — and not just for food. Whether you're after bottles of vino, tinnies, boilermaker kits or freshly shaken cocktails, a number of Melbourne bars are ensuring you don't go thirsty while social distancing. Better yet, by ordering from these guys, you'll be supporting small, local businesses. So, if it looks like you need to restock your liquor cabinet, here are seven of the best boozy delivery deals around town.

This CBD cocktail haven is now bringing wattleseed negronis and fennel pollen sazeracs to your door, with 100 millilitre serves available for $20 and half-litres for $85. All of its bottled cocktails are inspired by native and seasonal ingredients. Other options include a bee pollen old fashioned, a lamington made with cacoa butter and a specialty gin —  this one is infused with foraged fig leaves and local strawberries. Nab one of each with the Byrds of a Feather party pack. Delivery is available within ten kilometres of the bar.

A mainstay in Melbourne’s small bar scene, Bar Americano knows how to shake up a mean drink. Usually, you’d nab a spot at the ten-seat bar, but these are not usual times. Instead, while its doors are shut, Bar Americano is offering daily delivery on a range of its bottled cocktails.  On the menu you’ll find an americano, a manhattan-inspired concoction, the bar’s house amaro, an old fashioned and a negroni — a go-to in these times. All come in either 200 or 500 millilitres. You can check out the Hometender menu here.

The Eveleigh is delivering freshly shaken and batch cocktails to your door. There are three at-home drink hampers to choose from: The Famous Four Set ($68), Happy Hour at Home ($99) and the Cocktail Trio ($115). Choose from five brand new concoctions made to order, including the Jasmine Cooler (gin, Campari, Triple Sec and lemon) and the Chet Baker (aged rum, sweet vermouth, honey and bitters). For batch cocktails, expect classic such as negronis, manhattans and martinis. Delivery is available within a six-kilometre radius of the CBD, every Thursday through Saturday from 5.30–9.30pm.

The chic CBD basement bar is currently offering French bistro-style meals, wine and bottled cocktails to a heap of inner Melbourne suburbs every day of the week. Dubbed A la Maison, the service is delivery only and is providing all the comforts we need right now. For wine, you can nab anything from champagne and skin contact to gamay and a cabernet franc. Classic batch cocktails from Everleigh — think negronis, martinis and manhattans — are also available. Plus, the food will be pretty damn good, too.

With the Bar Liberty team behind this Carlton pizza joint, you can bet it’s offering up a great booze delivery deal at the moment. Aside from the pizza — which is delicious — Capitano is slinging a bunch of fun wines and a bottled cocktail selection (including a negroni magnum) for pick up and delivery. If you like a stiff drink, you can get an olive oil martini. If you’re looking for a dessert in drink form, there’s the Tiramisu Milk Punch. Full food and drink menu here.
