Why not enjoy the glorious summer heat and spend New Year’s Eve in a beer garden overlooking the Yarra, surrounded by twinkling lights and like-minded revellers? With free flowing booze, of course. Riverside brewpub and bar Hopscotch is hosting a NYE Night Garden Festival with a four-hour drinks and food package from 8pm–midnight. This includes eight different tap beers, house wines and spirits, and a pop-up garden bar serving Pimm’s punch as the clock ticks down to 2020. There will be plenty of roving bites and sweet treats, and for music, think DJ beats all night. Oh, and you’ll have a pretty epic view of the fireworks. First release tickets are $165 and you’ll want to nab one here before they sell out.
