Mondays at San Antone can get pretty darn messy. But when you’re elbow-deep in fried chicken, it’s pretty likely you won’t mind that much. The Crown restaurant is renowned for its American-style smoked meats and to kickstart each week, it offers two hours of endless chicken wings for just $25 per person. These finger lickin’ goodies are smoked for two hours and then served by the bucket, teamed with your choice of sauce — Louisiana hot, mild barbecue or hot barbecue — and a pile of golden fries. If you love sushi but don’t love spending a heap of money on it, Saké has something that will make both your stomach and your wallet happy: all-you-can-eat sushi. And it’s running four nights a week. From 5–7pm, Monday to Thursday, you can eat endless sushi for only $19 — less than a lobster.
You’ll be able to choose from spicy tuna rolls, chicken karaage rolls, salmon and avocado rolls and more. And to sweeten the deal, there’ll also be drink discounts, too, including $5 beers, $10 cocktails and $8 wines.

That’s the $35 deal Pizza E Birra is now serving from 6pm each week, and yes, your slices and sips won’t come to an end during a two-hour period. Part of the restaurant precinct on Fitzroy Street, Mahjong has been serving up scores of dumplings for nigh on ten years. Head in on the weekend for a cruisy $39 yum cha. You scoff dumplings anytime on Saturday, but on Sunday — prime yum cha day — you have to choose from a session time of 11.30am or 1.30pm.
If it’s more of an evening affair you’re after, Mahjong also runs its yum cha on Tuesday evenings or — what we’re all here for — an ‘endless Friday feast’ all-you-can-eat state of affairs on Fridays. If a hefty stack of pancakes is your brunch of choice, this Saturday session is guaranteed to be right up your alley. Carlton’s Prince Alfred Hotel is hosting a weekly session of bottomless pancakes and booze on its newly minted rooftop.
From 11.30am each week, head up to the top of the Carlton pub for unlimited stacks of pancakes, loaded up with your choice of toppings for just $25.
But why stop there? The pub’s also offering a bottomless booze package to complement those fancy-pants stacks, priced at $65 for unlimited eats and drinks. Jessi Singh is back on board at his former Fitzroy North restaurant as a consultant and executive chef, having led a recent transformation of the venue’s menu, look and feel.
And it’s worth a visit — for a few reasons. As well as serving up innovative and rule-breaking Indian fare, it’s also serving up all-you-can-eat curry and rice every Sunday night for only $25.
