Overview
Hailing from Melbourne's southeast, Corey Kikos and Maryos Syawish — aka Sleep D — have had a huge year. Between playing gigs and releasing music, the duo founded their own record label, Butter Sessions, and are dedicated to exploring sonic soundscapes while bringing us along for the ride.
Take a trip outside of the usual inner-city musical haunts and venture out to the Fairfield Amphitheatre, where the beautiful surrounds of the Yarra River will facilitate the good times ahead. As well as it being an awesome outdoor venue to experience some pretty expansive electronic music, the reason for the venue of choice is that Analogue Attic will be recording their forthcoming release with Sleep D on-site. Support spot for the afternoon will be Albrecht La’Brooy, and instructions for the event suggest you bring a picnic rug, some cheese and an esky. You don't need to tell us twice.
