This Queensland-born music, food and arts fest is heading to Geelong for the first time with Ty Dolla $ign, YG, Zhu and Pnau leading the bill.

UPDATE: On Tuesday, October 18, the organisers of Grass Is Greener have announced that the Geelong leg of the festival is cancelled. They shared the message: "Having weighed up the risk of multiple options, we are extremely disappointed to announce that the Canberra and Geelong legs of The Grass Is Greener are cancelled... At The Grass Is Greener, we deeply value ethical practice above all else. Therefore, our decisions are made in the interests of long-term sustainability for all."
Music lovers of Melbourne, and festival fans as well, we foresee a trip to the Geelong in your near future. That's where The Grass Is Greener is heading this year, with the music, food and arts fest hitting up the Geelong Racecourse on Sunday, October 30 with an impressive lineup.
Leading the bill: Ty Dolla $ign, YG, Zhu and Pnau. The event is particularly pumped to have not one but two of the biggest names in hip hop gracing its stages, as well as one of EDM's global stars and some homegrown heroes. And, it's betting that you'll be just as thrilled to check them out live. Of course you will.

If you're not familiar with the fest, it made its debut back in 2016 up in Cairns. This year, it's hitting up not only Queensland's far north and the Gold Coast — spreading the love from one end of the Sunshine State to the other — but also branching out further for the first time ever. Yes, that's where the Geelong gig comes in
Each 2022 stop will boast multiple — and themed — stages, other eye-catching activations, and VIP packages if you're feeling flush with cash.
