Summer might be long done, but spritz season is still very much alive at Richmond's Baby Pizza. In fact, the venue's serving up a fresh series of daily aperitivo specials to see you happily through the rest of winter.
From 3–5pm each day, you can head by for $6.50 drinks — whether you're keen on sipping Aperol spritzes, Peroni Red beers or the Stefani Estate Shiraz. Part with $8.80 and you can choose from a couple of different specialty cocktails instead, including a Sicilian sour crafted with limoncello and thyme, and a reimagined negroni featuring raspberry-infused Campari and white chocolate.
If you're also feeling peckish, you can dig into Baby Pizza's new aperitivo snack menu, featuring goodies like arancini bolognese, fried polenta paired with tomato salsa and a garlic aioli, alongside the usual lineup of pizza, pasta and other Italian eats. The venue is taking some walk-ins, though you can make a booking online if you want to be sure of nabbing a table.
