Making its home within the bustling Footscray Market, Little Common is a pint-sized European-style coffee bar from the minds behind long-running inner west favourite Common Galaxia. It's smaller than its established Seddon sibling with a focus on takeaways, an industrial fit-out and minimal seating.

Little Common is showcasing beans from A Plus Coffee Roasters, across a range of specialty, single origin and house blend coffee. The offering heroes stronger, richer brews, designed to really kick-start your day on your way to Footscray Station.

Drop in and pull up a barstool to enjoy one of Head Barista Jordan Grimaldi's expert cups, perhaps matched with a bite from the short but sharp food menu. A handful of Common Galaxia's best-loved sandwiches get a look-in here, alongside bagels loaded with salmon or local pastrami, and a range of fresh cold-pressed juices. If you're yet to get acquainted with this crew's sandwich game, just know that past standout combinations have included the likes of a toasted reuben with pastrami, red cabbage, caramelised onion and gruyere, and a hearty meatball sub loaded with red sauce, roasted capsicum, aged cheddar and ranch.

You'll also spy a line of Assembly teas, as well as a retail selection of ground coffee and beans for home.
