The Old Paper Mills
This arts and culture precinct is set in an historic 19th-century paper mill.
Overview
Just outside of Geelong is the charming township of Fyansford, one of the earliest places of settlement in the region. Once a stronghold of industry, the town is home to a number of heritage-listed sites. This includes The Old Paper Mills, an emerging arts and culture destination that's become a popular spot for visitors and locals alike to spend a leisurely afternoon.
The 19th-century buildings are situated on the banks of the Barwon River, and are home to gallery spaces and art studios, cafes, and even a winery, while walking and cycling tracks surrounding the district allow easy access to the nearby Buckley Falls and surrounding river areas.
