Making its way through the Sydney metropolitan area is ARTEXPRESS, the annual exhibition of impressive artwork by NSW year 12 students for the Higher School Certificate in Visual Arts. Attendance at the exhibition has reached over one and a half million viewers as it increases in prestige and popularity on Sydney's cultural calendar, and for good reason, too. The showcase features a typical scope of mediums, ranging from paintings, sculptures and prints to videos and graphic design. This is no ordinary gallery. 34 students' pieces, chosen for the strength of the concept of their work, will be put on display throughout 19 different venues across The Rocks in Sydney in a unique walking tour.

Residents of New South Wales are entrusted with the responsibility to choose one talented student artist to receive an incredible honor and opportunity. Making its way through the Sydney metropolitan area is ARTEXPRESS, the annual exhibition of impressive artwork by NSW year 12 students for the Higher School Certificate in Visual Arts. The coveted People's Choice Prize this year: a workshop at the prestigious Julian Ashton Art School.

Beginning and ending at The Rocks Discovery Museum, the tour winds through venues like the Ken Duncan Gallery and Sydney Harbour YHA; after completion observers can cast a vote for their favorite student artist.
