Good news for those who hate regular gyms — there are places you can go and actually have fun while you get fit. Beyoncé dance classes and fitness parties like No Lights No Lycra are all the rage, and gyms have started to follow suit by injecting a little fun into their regular proceedings. Fitness Playground, a colourful gym with locations in Surry Hills, Marrickville and Newtown, are leading the charge on having fun and getting fit, mainly by offering classes like aerial yoga, barre and our personal favourite, Circus Fit.

In partnership with Fitness Playground, we're hosting four back-to-back Circus Fit classes on Saturday February 25 at the Surry Hills gym. There can only be 12 people in each class, so register your interest quickly and avoid missing out. If you like exercising with friends and want to bring a plus one along that's more than okay, just let us know in the form below. Classes are free to attend and exclusive to Concrete Playground readers.

After the class you can roam the gym and check out the colourful space for yourself. Or, you could head to one of the many cafes in Surry Hills and grab a healthy brunch to complement your workout. Nothing like getting up early on a Saturday morning and starting off your day with a spot of acrobatics.

If you want to know a little more about what Circus Fit actually involves, find out exactly what you're in for and read what happened when we did the class ourselves.
