Overview

The Darling Harbour Jazz and Blues Festival is celebrating twenty two years this Queen's Birthday weekend. Set across four stages, including the world famous floating Harbourside stage, the program looks set to excite.
To celebrate this anniversary the festival is pulling out all stops, bringing together the best of the local and international jazz scene, including headliners Dr Lonnie Smith, Trevor Watts, Veryan Weston and former Cat Empire member Harry james Angus, to name just a few.
For the first time ever visitors can experience Moonlight Jazz In The Chinese Garden, a unique music event in a beautifully tranquil location, as well as a Festival Bar at Tumbalong Park. Plus, young jazz fans can get up close and personal with one of Australia’s best jazz artists, John Morrison, who will be running free big band workshops on Sunday and Monday at 11am in Tumbalong Park.
