If you haven’t gone yet, 20 June is a good opportunity to explore and experience what’s on offer at Danks Street's galleries, during their Winter Solstice late night. Nine galleries in Danks Street are heralding the arrival of winter and the Sydney Biennale, inviting anyone and everyone to enjoy the art and a glass of wine.
Stella Downer Fine Art gallery on Danks Street represents over 30 contemporary Australian artists who work across many mediums, with a commitment to supporting and promoting sculpture and in particular placing works in both urban and rural environments. It and its eight neighbouring galleries will open between 6pm and 8pm to let you explore their many shows before the shortest night of the year takes hold.
