As the cut-off date for returning those marriage equality postal surveys looms closer (November 6, for those who've yet to post theirs), a group of much-loved Aussie acts is joining forces to present YesFest, a national concert in support of same-sex marriage.

A pat on the back for voters who've already ticked yes and a last-minute nudge for those yet to do so, the concert will take place in that final week of voting, taking over Sydney Olympic Park's Spotless Stadium on Sunday, October 29.

And it's a lineup worth getting excited for, promising a diverse range of performances and collaborations from some of your Aussie favourites. On the bill so far are the likes of Flight Facilities, The Preatures, Tkay Maidza, Client Liaison, Killing Heidi, Kirin J Callinan, Megan Washington and rock 'n' roll legend Jimmy Barnes, to name a few.

They'll be joined by vocal supporters like Courtney Act, Jordan Raskopoulos and Jackie Loeb, with Osher Günsberg stepping in as host for the evening. The show will be broadcast live across Australia via YouTube, while MTV covers all the backstage antics on Facebook Live. Produced by Sydney's Our Friends Electric and endorsed by the Equality Campaign, a portion of profits will head straight to supporting the marriage equality cause.

The music event is certainly not the first one to happen in Sydney in support of marriage equality. The Jezebels headlined a gig at Enmore Theatre and Redfern's Prince Alfred Park hosted a mini-festival last month.

YesFest will take place at Spotless Stadium, Grand Parade, Olympic Park on Sunday, October 29 from 3–10pm. Tickets are $68.77 and are on sale from midday today, October 6. Get your vote sorted and then grab yours here.
