Melbourne's Favourite Streetwear Social Enterprise HoMie Is Popping Up in Sydney This Weekend
The beloved brand is finding a temporary home in Surry Hills — for two days only.
Melbourne streetwear label and social enterprise HoMie is coming to Sydney for the first time, bringing its full range, an exclusive collab, and a whole lot of heart to Surry Hills' Gallery Brave this weekend. The streetwear social enterprise (that fights youth homelessness) is touching down for two days, transforming the Hibernian House-based gallery into its temporary home.
The pop-up will be complete with core pieces, latest releases, AFL club knits, as well as exclusive one-off pieces created in partnership with Gallery Brave owner, advertising agency Today the Brave.
"HoMie has grown through community, and we're super excited to come to Sydney," said Marcus Crook, HoMie's co-founder and creative director. "This pop-up is a chance to share the brand with a new city, connect with supporters, local creatives and community service partners.
"It's been great to partner with Today the Brave for some limited pieces, which will only be available over this weekend."
HoMie has been at it since 2015, and the numbers speak for themselves — over 5,000 young people have been supported and more than 20,600 items of clothing have been gifted through its programs like Pathway Alliance, Retail Ready, and their VIP Days.
Following the weekend pop-up, Gallery Brave will open its doors on Monday, June 29, for a VIP Day, with local community support services bringing in young people experiencing homelessness or hardship to shop for free, with haircuts and beauty services on offer too — showcasing the beloved HoMie model in action, right here in Sydney.
HoMie's pop-up will run 10am–5pm on Saturday, June 27, and Sunday, June 28 at Gallery Brave, Hibernian House. Following @GalleryBrave and @homie.com.au for more details.
