Overview
Can you feel a tingling in your toes as your feet start to defrost? That's the feeling of winter slipping away (or maybe you've been sitting cross-legged for too long) and with its demise comes the return of Australia's beloved Moonlight Cinema.
Ahhh balmy nights on the grass, we have missed you. Heralding the coming of the warmer months, Moonlight Cinema is a summertime tradition that is thankfully making a comeback despite everything 2020 has thrown our way. The film program is yet to be announced, but we'll keep you updated as soon as it is.
Nosh-wise, Moonlight Cinema will again let you BYO movie snacks and drinks (no alcohol in Brisbane, though), but the unorganised can also enjoy a plethora of snacks from food trucks — perfect, messy treats made for reclining on bean beds.
This season includes screens in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth, running from November through to April. Only vague dates have been announced for now, but expect to hear a lot more in the coming weeks.
