For one night only, the CarriageWorks foyer is being transformed into a giant canvas for moving image installations, projections and avant-garde film. Expanded Architecture, part of the Sydney Architecture Festival, explores the crossover between art and architecture. On Wednesday, the floors, walls and ceilings will come alive to the tune of 12 projects from Sydney-based artists, collectives, filmmakers and architectural graduates. If only these walls could talk.

Continuing the fun and games in July, Chippendale will be home to 100 of Sydney's emerging creative talents as the new digs for Underbelly Arts: Public Lab + Festival. Expect to roll up your sleeves and get your hands greasy as 15 new projects unfold from July 8 to 17. Try a free tour of the Lab, take part in creating an on-site, souvenir publication, and check in at the halfway point when artists and audiences cross paths in a wild, free day of art-making and debate.
