The Friend in Hand Hotel is a quirky pub tucked away in the backstreets of Glebe, between Glebe Point Road and Wentworth Park. It's a bit tricky to find, but once you you're inside a fun, kitsch, true blue Australian pub awaits.

Jake Chalmers is in charge of the bistro, with Jake's burger and chips being the main keeper on the menu. A range of nightly activities keeps the place lively – crab racing on Wednesdays, comedy on Thursdays and poetry on the first Tuesday of every month. Think a night out with your old uni mates more than gastropub with your parents. Grab a brewski on tap and enjoy an old-school pub experience.
