Overview
Hanging out for a late afternoon tipple? If you've made your way down to the South Coast – or are planning to — The Huskisson, right on the water, is the spot for it. The Jervis Bay pub's got a massive, well-shaded deck and floor-to-ceiling windows, so the views are panoramic. Opening back in 1932, the recently renovated pub is a bit of a local institution, offering food, booze and accomodation — all overlooking the bay. There's also a rotating calendar of events, from trivia Thursdays to live tunes on Fridays and Saturdays.
If you're after a feed, the light-filled brasserie serves up everything from fresh seafood to burgers, pizzas, salads and mains such as schnitty, crispy pork belly and a 300-gram Black Angus rump steak, as well as some daily specials. For drinks, there are 14 beers on tap; a lengthy wine list, featuring award-winning local vinos; and a bunch of cocktails — think Aperol spritz, passionfruit mojito, Tommy's margarita, espresso martini, pornstar martini and more.
