If your festive crew fancies a meal to be shared, the produce-driven setting of Matt Moran’s glasshouse-inspired Chiswick has prepared a Christmas Collective Menu to consider. It’s available for bookings of four or more people from Monday, November 27.
For $98 per person, you’ll get starters like garden rosemary flatbread; mains like roasted lamb shoulder with chickpea and grain garden salad; and sides of woodfired kipfler potato salad, slow-roasted carrots, black garlic and garden leaves. Plus, oh-so-rich desserts like chocolate torte with summer cherries.

If you seek a traditional Aussie seafood lunch for the season, head to North Bondi Fish. It’s a little unconventional but undeniably luxe with million-dollar views, proximity to the waves, and a ready crowd of surfed-out, ravenous diners. With Matt Moran and head chef Steve Jacomos at the helm, the famed eatery continues to draw diners for every occasion.
The shared set menu is $85 per person, packed with sashimi, fish tacos, crispy calamari, tamarind fish curry, sides and desserts. Other NBF Christmas offers include Beers ‘n’ Buns (four beers and four cooked tiger prawn buns), plus an extremely festive-sounding Christmas cake marg (Patron Silver infused with wattleseed, cinnamon and orange, licor 43, lime, Peloton De La Muerte mezcal and Valdespino PX).

A new addition to the Sydney dining scene is Chez Blue, a casual French neighbourhood bistro in Rozelle, headed up by Mark Williamson of Bistro Moncur. If you fancy French cuisine, groups of four or more can opt for the three-course set menu at $90pp. Enjoy your choice of entrée, main and dessert with options including ham croquettes with saffron aioli and comte; tuna tartare Niçoise; snapper fillet with clams, lemon vinaigrette and sea herbs; or steak frites.
