If you’ve got the blues because you’ve missed out on Byron-bound, field-frolicking party times at Splendour this year, we hear you. Thankfully, many of the headliners are kind enough to put on a sideshow or two while they’re visiting — after all, many of them have come a long way for the occasion.
While you've had other things like work, life and International Mojito Day on your mind, tickets have gone a-walkin' for these coveted sideshows, only adding insult to injury. Fear not, we've trawled through the best Splendour sideshows to see who’s still got tickets available if you want to join the festival buzz.
Without further ado, here's some Splendour sideshows you could be slinging your dollars towards. NOTE: This is all very ‘at the time of writing’ so if something sells out in the meantime, we’re sorry for getting any hopes up.

Last time North Carolina-raised producer Porter Robinson came for a visit he was performing a DJ set. This time around, we’re getting the whole live set. Robinson will be joined by local goalkickers Wave Racer and Cosmo’s Midnight — so if you’re looking for a gig to dance your socks off to, you’ve found it.

Look, doo-wop, funk and punk don’t normally go hand in hand at first glance, however somehow King Khan & BBQ Show manage to pull it off in a flurry of fun and sweat. For something a little out of the ordinary and hip-thrustingly danceable, head along to their Splendour sideshow.

When it comes to musical families it doesn’t get much more talented than Kitty, Daisy and Lewis Durham. This sibling trio’s live shows cover everything from R&B, swing, jump blues, country and western, blues, Hawaiian, and good old fashioned rock ‘n’ roll, so get ready to fly from one genre to the next.

North London’s latest incarnation of alt-rock is about to roll into town. They’ve just released their debut album, My Love Is Cool, in June this year, with producer Mike Crossey (Arctic Monkeys, Foals, Black Keys) at the grungy helm.

Rapper, songwriter, and arguably one of music’s most notable controversy magnets, Azealia Banks, is on her way back to Australia for Splendour. Fingers crossed this set doesn’t get cut short.

Odd Future may have called it a day, but the gang’s still going strong in their own pursuits. One such OFWGKTA rapper who’s dropping by for this year’s Splendour is Earl Sweatshirt, tipped to be one of the big tickets of this year’s sideshows.

If you want a healthy dose of British indie rock this winter, the double bill of The Vaccines with Palma Violets could be just the ticket. Both bands were last here in 2013, too long between drinks with these UK lads.
