Online trend magazine TrendLand have created a neat little video for the upcoming Fashion Week in New York. It's centered around the street style of New Yorkers and nothing is more current in fashion than the garb on the ground. Fashion houses readily admit to interpreting what's happening out in the world and incorporating it into their shows; gone are the days of the fashion brand being the dictator of style. Sure, plenty of people now rock rolled up cuffs as a result of The Sartorialist's blog, but street style blogs especially aim to capture what's truly original. It's this originality that people pay attention to, which in turn become trends. TrendLand have captured a life on the street and this video is the first of two (so far) in a series that could easily become addictive viewing. Check out the girl with the blonde streak in her 'fro; are all New Yorkers famous in their heads or what?
