As one of the most exciting events in the Sydney calendar, Sydney Design 2010 is probably already in your diary as worth a look — there are plenty of exciting things on the program to see and do. But if you have a knack for photography and are passionate about fashion and Sydney, here's an opportunity to take your participation a step further and actually get involved. Straight up: on the streets in Sydney, an online project from the Powerhouse Museum, invites you to snap your own pictures on the Sydney streets then upload them onto their Flickr group using the tag 'straightup'. Taking inspiration from street-fashion blogs popping up all over the internet, this is your chance to capture the city's vibrant street style in your photographs. Images can be uploaded at any time — the only guidelines are that the pictures should fit in with the festival theme of 'tell us a story'. Witness the results splashed on screen at the Powerhouse Museum from July 31 to August 29.
