Swiss Sportswear Brand On Is Bringing Running Experiences to Sydney Ahead of Marathon Weekend

With the Sydney Marathon fast approaching, Swiss sportswear brand On is bringing two running experiences straight to the heart of the city.
Taking up residence on Level 3 of Westfield Bondi from Thursday, August 20, the store is Sydney's first chance to shop the activewear and lifestyle brand in person. This follows the Melbourne flagship opening at Emporium in 2024.
The Bondi store is set to become a hub for running enthusiasts over marathon weekend, hosting free On LightSprayTM Dream Runs and a post-marathon activation on Monday, August 31. Race finishers can drop by the Bondi store for post-marathon portraits to commemorate their achievements.
The Future of Running
Alongside the run clubs and activations, On is also debuting a brand new performance technology and offering runners the chance to get up close and personal before the marathon.
LightSpray™ is On's high-performance upper shoe technology that's created through a single-step manufacturing process. The result is a lace-free, lightweight, seamless shoe designed to help you perform at your best, and Sydney's running community is getting the first look at the new limited edition shoe — the LightSpray Cloudboom Strike 2.
Tested by athletes across marathon and half-marathon distances, this high-performance shoe is designed for a fast, lightweight run. Its CloudTec Sphere™ cushioning system delivers responsive support, while the ultralight Lightspray™ upper keeps things feeling light on your feet.
The LightSpray™ Tour will give visitors the chance to experience On's innovative global technology firsthand and is open to the public for bookings. Sessions run across the four days leading up to the Sydney Marathon, with sessions held on:
- Thursday, August 27: 1.30–4pm
- Friday, August 28: 10am–6pm
- Saturday, August 29: 10am–6pm
- Sunday, August 30: 9am–2pm
