UPDATE: MARCH 16, 2020 — Due to government restrictions on public gatherings, Bad Friday 2020 has been cancelled. Ticketholders can request a refund from Oztix Customer Service via [email protected].

Easter is creeping up once again, and that means the Bad Friday block party is on its way as well. Since it started in 2010, the festival has changed quite a bit — it's moved from the Annandale Hotel to The Vic on the Park and has now expanded onto the streets of Marrickville. And this year, for its 11th event, it will add on a whole extra day of festivities to make your long weekend even more epic.

The two-day festival will take over Railway Parade in Marrickville (just next to Sydenham Station) on both Friday, April 10 and Saturday, April 11. As always, it's got quite the lineup. Friday will be headlined by the Perth favourites Pond — who've just come off a European tour — while, on Saturday, you'll be able to catch both Sydney duo Cosmo's Midnight and six-piece Winston Surfshirt. They're joined by US band Twin Peaks, Triple J regulars Holy Holy and The Jezabels' Hayley Mary.

Organisers have this year decided to decrease capacity, so when tickets go on sale on Thursday, January 30, you shouldn't dawdle — the last two Bad Fridays have sold out. Plus, you can party like you've got two days off afterwards.
