Bubbles, Burrata & Bocconcini
Sip bottomless bubbles while learning to make two types of cheese.
Overview
If you love cheese, but are sick of spending the bulk of your paycheque on it, here's a solution: go to a cheese making class. Sure, it'll cost you pretty penny to attend, but then you'll have the knowledge to make endless cheese at home, whenever you want.
Omnom Cheese Shop is hosting a series of these cheese making classes at its Rosebery digs. At the 90-minute class, you'll learn to stretch, fold and "ball" both bocconcini and burrata — while sipping endless bubbles. Yep, unlimited sparkling wine while you cook.
The classes will set you back $89 a person, but that includes the endless booze as well as around one kilogram of your own handmade cheese to take home. One. Whole. Kilogram.
Hot tip: the cheese making sessions regularly sell out and with fewer spots available, they'll go quickly. So round up your mates and book one in before it's too late.
