Overview

Whether you're after beer, tea, clothing or plants, you can find a local in the inner west to meet your needs. To celebrate the slew of creative and culinary talent that gives the area its special vibrancy, COMMUNE, Newtown's legendary co-working space, is hosting a 'locally made' makers' market on June 21. We can't tell you exactly where yet, as the location is top secret until the day. (To make sure you find out, hit up COMMUNE's Facebook page).

But we can tell you that a mighty list of locals is planning on turning up. These include Young Henrys Brewery, Food Rascal smoked briskets and spit roast, Chai Walla with fresh chai and coffee, The Vegan TeahouseO!momoKaleidoJP Finsbury Bespoke JoinersRising Sun PlantsHennah By Hannah, Lemunkytoto and Vilify Apparel.

Once sun has set on the market, the party will kick on at Newtown's Union Hotel.
