Field Day 2027
Field Day is kicking off its 25th year with a bang, adding Australian dance export Mall Grab to its already massive NYD lineup.
Overview
The first day of the year, The Domain and Sydneysiders flocking to see live tunes: that's one helluva New Year's tradition. It's also what Field Day serves up every year, and will again to start off 2027. While the lineup dropped back in September, one top-billed spot was kept tightly under wraps. Now revealed, one of Australia's biggest dance exports, Mall Grab joins the likes of Major Lazer and Sub Focus as a Field Day 2027 headliner.
Hailing from just up the coast, Newcastle-born star Mall Grab has spent the last few years carving up stages across Europe with his brand of rave-ready outsider house and techno. Also releasing music alongside his frequent collaborator and now-wife, Effy, the pair arrive on the back of the Australian debut of their multi-artist event series Fragrance, which only recently took over Carriageworks for a one-night-only showcase of cutting-edge electronic music.

Meanwhile, fellow Field Day 2027 headliners Major Lazer will perform in Australia for the first time in 11 years, alongside UK drum & bass heavyweights Sub Focus, who has risen through the ranks of underground jungle to some of the biggest and loudest dance floors around the globe. Plus, this day out in the park will feature the likes of Andy C, Hannah Liang, Boys Noize, WOLTERS and many more across its three stages.
For 25 years, Field Day has turned The Domain into Sydney's unofficial New Year's Day tradition, with over half a million revellers soaking up some of the world's best music talent in electronic and beyond. Think RÜFÜS DU SOL, The xx, Disclosure, Mark Ronson, Tame Impala, Flume, Solange, Dom Dolla and more. And now with Mall Grab joining the party, expect this annual dance floor to be as show-stopping as ever.
