Vivid isn't the only way to immerse yourself in lights this winter. Sydney Zoo in Western Sydney has also transformed into a giant, glowing playground.
Head there any evening between now and Sunday, June 15, to find out what the animals do after dark — while surrounded by more than 200 illuminated installations. You'll meet a massive yellow octopus, wander beneath a butterfly canopy and come face-to-face with a smiling crocodile.
There's also a bunch of interactive rides, from a piano you can play with your feet to a ferris wheel affording spectacular views. And, when you need a break from all the excitement, you can pop into the GLOW bar for a drink and scour the food trucks for tasty, heart-warming bites.
Tickets, which are $24.99 for kids and $34.99 for kidults, are available online. Book on a Tuesday night, and you'll get yours for half-price.
