Overview

Nothing beats the simple beauty of a nice weekend market. Roaming the stalls of local producers and artisans, tote bag in hand, the sounds of music and a community all around you. That's the simple beauty that Cambridge Markets is built on, and these expert organisers are adding a new market to the family: Green Square Markets.

Like its siblings in Ryde Wharf, Wentworth Point, The Entertainment Quarter, The Cannery, and many more spots around Sydney, Green Square Markets is all about local produce and community spirit. So once it kicks off on Easter Saturday (Saturday, March 30), it will bring all that and more to Zetland's Green Square Plaza every Saturday from 8am to 2pm.

Every weekend you'll find a diverse selection of fresh produce, baked goods, international eats and unique artisan goods, all sold by local vendors. It's a tops excuse to get out of the house and visit the area to enjoy the community spirit and get a great bite to eat. To get there, the Green Square train station is across the road, or parking can be found on Johnson St and Queen St, Alexandria.

Green Square Markets open on Saturday, March 30 from 8am—2pm, then run every Saturday from 8am—2pm.  For more information, visit the website
