Overview
From his breakout role as a dimwitted talk show sidekick in The Larry Sanders Show to his fan-favourite turn as the Bluth family patriarch in cult comedy hit Arrested Development to his current part as an elderly transgender woman in the Amazon original comedy-drama Transparent, 70-year-old Jeffrey Tambor has helped bring life to some of television’s most memorable comedic characters. Now he’s headed to Sydney for a one night only show, in the latest addition to the program at Spectrum Now.
The event is co-sponsored by local streaming service Stan, who not so coincidentally owns the broadcast rights to Transparent’s first season. Hosted by Spectrum Now’s creative director Richard Roxburgh, the talk will cover some of the greatest hits of Tambor’s 40-year career, from his early years on Broadway to his recent win at the 2014 Golden Globe Awards.
