Long Chim's 4th Birthday Month

CBD favourite Long Chim is turning four in August, and it's doing so with a month-long celebration of Thai food. The fine-dining restaurant is throwing itself three birthday dinners and offering a daily happy hour to boot.

First up for the birthday dinners is Curry Night, happening on Monday, August 10. For $40, punters will get a four-course curry and beer feast, with all new dishes on the menu. This one is available for dine-in or takeaway, so you can opt to enjoy the spread at home too.

Then on Thursday, August 20, Long Chim will host its official 4th Birthday Party. This two-hour banquet features nine of the restaurant's signature dishes — think beef massaman, green chicken curry, fish cakes, prawn miang, nongs eggplant and banana roti. It'll cost $66 all up and include bubbles on arrival.

And since two parties is never enough, the month will round out with an Oodles of Noodle Night on Monday, August 24. Another four-course meal awaits, along with a platter of snacks to share and a beer or wine, all for $40.

Long Chim will also offer a special happy hour every single day in August — with wine, beer and snacks all just $4 from 2–6pm. And the venue's corner pop-up cafe will serve up $2.50 coffees all day too.
