Overview
Streetwear label NOOBIIE has added an on-site cafe to its Newtown flagship. This weekend, the revamped space will be open to the public with a host of giveaways — including one for fine-line tattoos.
The coffee machine at Cafe Noobiie will be put to the test with 100 complimentary coffees from 10am on Saturday, July 11. On the permanent menu, expect drinks like iced matcha lattes, brown sugar oat lattes and The Heavyweight — iced espressos crowned with oat foam – named for NOOBIIE's thick fabrics.
Husband-and-wife founders Gus Brown and Linda Sanday-Brown started supplying NOOBIIE's oversized garments to Sydney creatives and independent brands in 2022. The new-and-improved hub takes cues from listening lounges around town and international multi-concept stores like Aimé Leon Dore and Kith.
Marrickville studio Bottega Made will be running a live screen-printing station, while the tattoo artists from Fifth Gallery will be around for free ink with purchases over $150. There's also a a futuristic pair of sneakers from Asics, a stay at Darlinghurst's Medusa Hotel and $500 NOOBIIE voucher to be won.
