Overview
As we settle into the new year, many of us are prioritising our health and fitness goals for 2024. Fittingly, we've seen a rise in running clubs and events in recent times as both a fitness and a cultural movement – a way to get moving and connect with others.
So why not take it to the next level? To raise funds for the Australian Cancer Research Foundation (founded in the 1980s) and celebrate 40 years of helping Australians with cancer, the Real Insurance Sydney Harbour 10k and 5k race will be heading back to the 80s and 90s on Sunday, July 28.
Retro Run promises a nostalgic journey along a scenic track, lit up with neon, lycra, and big hair, as well as music zones and pop-culture pit stops.
So get ready to lace up your Dad sneakers and dust off those leg warmers for a great cause. Whether you are a seasoned runner, a newcomer seeking a new challenge, or love to dress up, all are welcome to sign up and join in on some retro fun.
