Overview

Summer might officially be over, but that by no means means you have to head straight home after work. In fact, Armorica, a French brasserie in Surry Hills (and sibling of Franca, Potts Point) is suggesting you do just the opposite.

The restaurant is luring you to hang around town with a happy hour deal that's hard to refuse. Between 4pm–6pm, with just $6 in your hand, you can indulge in a glass of rosé, a beer or a serving of charcuterie.

This excellent deal has been on offer for a little while – and Armorica has just announced it won't be going anywhere soon. So many people have been getting on the bandwagon, it doesn't make sense to stop.

After 6pm, you might, of course, be tempted to stick around to try a little more of the menu. Standouts include the seafood tower layered with fresh oysters and grilled prawns, the slow-cooked duck rigatoni, and the whole chicken served with chicken skin and thyme-infused gravy. You'll have no trouble finding a perfect match in the 400-strong wine menu.
