Sundays Scrolls at Salomon Bondi
Sweet treats, gorpcore staples and endless sneakers are up for grabs.
Overview
If sneakers, coffee and an early start are already part of your mornings, make your way to the second floor of Westfield Bondi this weekend. French hiking label Salomon is christening its first store in Sydney's eastern suburbs with a stack of freebies – and naturally, a community gravel run.

Get there before the doors open on Saturday, July 11 for a sack of custom hiking staples, such as a ripstop tote, a milk glass mug and a carabiner. The first 50 early birds might get a golden ticket in their bag, which they can cash in for a year's supply of Salomon sneakers – that's roughly $2000 worth of kicks.
Inside, settle in with a complimentary cuppa and gravel-inspired treats from Sunday Scrolls, soundtracked to a live DJ. Pick up a pair of trailrunners while you're at it — each purchase comes with a custom T-shirt.

Lace up again on Sunday, July 12, when Salomon's community gravel run rolls out from the store at 9.30am. A lucky few will get a chance to put the snakeskin-esque Aero Glide 4 GRVL through its paces, plus score a complimentary bandana. Once you're back, recover with a post-run spread of Sunday Scrolls, Whittaker's chocolate and specialty coffee from Foster & Black.
Salomon Bondi's opening weekend runs from 9.30am on both Saturday, 11 July and Sunday, 12 July. The store is located on Level 2 of Westfield Bondi, 500 Oxford Street.
