The Coffee Experience

Overview

For three days, Moore Park's Royal Hall of Industries is turning itself over to all things coffee.

Leading the Coffee Experience program are two major coffee competitions. The first is the Regional Coffee Championships, which offers prizes in four categories: Barista, Latte Art, Brewers Cup and Huhtamaki Cup Tasting Championship. The second is the new DaVinci Gourmet Australian Coffee Chain Championship, which sees competitors battle their way through three rounds: Latte Art, Seasonal Beverage and Service Time. So you can pretty much spend all three days watching some of the best baristas in the nation in action.

And, with whatever time you have spare, there are coffees to be sampled, new frothing gadgets to be tested out, exhibitors to be chatted to and industry leaders to be networked with. If you run a coffee-inspired business or franchise, get along to the development sessions, which cover topics like finance managements, assets, changing environments and balancing costs with customer needs.
