The FIFA Women's World Cup is in full swing and the Matildas are absolutely killing it. Through to the quarter finals, the Aussies will be taking on France on Saturday, August 12 at 5pm — and Sydney is getting around the team. Plenty of venues are offering special deals in support of the World Cup, including acclaimed hospitality group PUBLIC, which is rolling out an array of one-off offers across its pubs The Lady Hampshire, Camelia Grove and Empire Hotel.

In Alexandria, anyone who heads to Camelia Grove to catch the game in an Australian jersey will be given a free drink, and there will also be a special Matildas-themed Maybe Sammy gimlet highball on offer for just $10. If you want to really make a day out of it, you can book a Ciao! Saturdays bottomless brunch, which includes pizza, pasta, antipasti, and free-flowing beer, wine and spritzes for $69.

If you're a resident of Annandale or Stanmore, Parramatta Road pub Empire Hotel boasts the biggest screen in the Inner West, and will be broadcasting the Matildas game loud and proud. Again, if wear your Australian jersey you'll be treated to a beer on the house.

And, just down the road, revived Camperdown stalwart The Lady Hampshire is throwing a huge free party centred around the match. Accompanying the new Maybe Sammy cocktail menu the pub has just unveiled will be $10 Tommy's margaritas and $20 burgers available during the match, plus a huge night of live music following the clash headlined by rockstars Johnny Hunter.
