Sweater weather is almost over in the southern hemisphere, which means it's time to make the most of the cooler days before summer arrives and our individual perspiration levels skyrocket. Thankfully, our pals at the Entertainment Quarter (EQ) are making getting out and about to enjoy the low temps easy via its family-friendly end-of-winter celebrations.

On Sunday, August 28, you and your crew can explore Cambridge Markets' Ultimate Winter Market at the the historic former Sydney Showground location (aka the EQ). Expect delicious hot food, artisan providores, gifts, fashion, homewares and more across the 150 stalls operating on the day. The best bit? Entry is free.

The event also coincides with the Allianz Stadium open day, so you can head next door to perve on the hot new stadium in between enjoying tasty market morsels. How good.
