For those ready to bring a little whimsy and magic back into their evenings, the Sydney Opera House's summer programming has the answer. With their new Hook's Neverland, the Opera House is offering a return to the beloved land and the croc-fearing, fiendish pirate: Captain Hook. This world-premiere circus adventure follows Hook as he reimagines the classic tale of Peter Pan. Returning to iconic locations such as the Lost Boys Hideout and featuring nostalgic appearances from everyone's favourite fairy Tinkerbell, show presents an evening for both children and the child amongst us all. Complete with aerial performances and visual effects, this production is the bold new offering from Gatsby at the Green Light creators Craig Ilott and Stuart Couzens, alongside Director Neil Dorward, previously responsible for Cirque Du Soleil's Mad Apple. As you take in the performances, enjoy the musical stylings of Now You See Me composer Evan Duffy. Showing from Saturday, January 9, this live circus spectacle promises to deliver an unforgettable evening. Tickets start from $74.90, with available dates through to Sunday, January 17.
