Arriving just in time to make your Ocsober run a little more bearable, the first Sydney-born range of non-alcoholic spirits has hit virtual shelves. Following in the footsteps of Brunswick Aces, Australia's first booze-free gin which landed earlier this year, the new ALTD Spirits line is here to help step your non-drinking game up a few notches.

The brainchild of brother and sister duo, Jacqui and Tim Triggs, ALTD is inspired by classic Aussie flavours. The trio of sips reference some of your favourite boozy concoctions, though with no alcohol, making them a sophisticated alternative to water or sugary soft drinks. After all, just because you're not drinking doesn't mean you've lost all your tastebuds.

The ALTD Spirits range includes gin-style creation the Green Grocer — a sugar-free number blending Australian botanicals like Tasmanian pepperberry and native lemon myrtle. This one's best enjoyed with ice, a splash of tonic and a twist of lime. Then, there's the Silver Princess — a bold, complex riff on pink gin that heroes strawberry gum and works a treat with some soda and a lime twist — and the soon-to-launch Golden Emperor with caramelised citrus and roasted blood orange notes. You can also use them to make a tasty punch, or fruit-filled mocktail.

Each booze-free spirit is named after a species of cicada and is made using over 20 locally grown botanicals, which are then distilled in traditional copper alembic stills. The limited-edition 700ml bottles are available to purchase online for $64 each.

Head to the ALTD website to add these booze-free sips to your collection.
