Overview
Merivale's super-popular Italian diner Totti's has just launched a takeaway menu — and, yes, its famous woodfired flatbread is on there. Dubbed Pick Up at Totti's, the service has all the favourites on the menu, such as mortadella, burrata, wood-grilled meats and, of course, plenty of pasta — think cacio e pepe tonnarelli, pappardelle with lamb ragu and bucatini vongole.
You'll also find antipasti, wood-roasted Murray cod, veal schnitzel, a bunch of salads and an ice cream sandwich on the menu. You can see the full offering here and preorder from 12pm today.
Pick up is available from 5–10pm every night from The Royal bottle shop next door, which is very convenient. While you're there, you can also pick up some Italian vinos or batched cocktails, with a gin spritz, negroni and spicy watermelon margarita all available.
While Merivale announced earlier in the week that all its restaurants and bars were temporarily ceasing operations, in response to the government's ordered close of non-essential indoor venues, the company is currently working out "how to best operate under the government's new takeaway and home delivery guidelines". So, hopefully in the near future, a few more of its establishments will start offering food and drinks to-go.
In the meantime, you can pick up a feed and a cocktail from Totti's — the only catch is it's only available for a limited time, so best put your order in quick.
If you do decide to leave the house to pick-up food, have a look at the latest COVID-19 advice and social-distancing guidelines from the Department of Health.
Pick Up at Totti's is available from The Royal's bottle shop every night of the week, from from 5-10pm. Preorders are available online from 12pm.
