Overview
Summer calls for countless aperitivo hours in the sun. And the drink of choice for many Sydneysiders? Well, that'd be the bittersweet Aperol spritz. So, to celebrate the launch of Aperol's new Ready to Serve cocktail bottles, the liquor brand has teamed up with Terrace on the Domain's Executive Chef Damien Worthington to create an epic picnic experience.
The jam-packed hampers include two bottles of the pre-batched Aperol spritzes, plus a hamper filled with a selection of cheese and cured meats, pickles, olives, chutney, focaccia and lavosh. There's also two panini stuffed with salami mozzarella, roasted capsicum and rocket. And, for dessert, you can feast on tiramisu and fruit.
The Aperol x Terrace on the Domain's hampers are designed for two people and cost $80. You can nab one — or a few — from Wednesday through Sunday from 12–7pm, but be sure to preorder your box at least 24 hours prior to when you wish to pick it up. Hampers are available till February 28 and can be collected from Terrace on the Domain. Then, settle in for an al fresco feast in the Domain park, overlooking the city skyline.
