Overview
A brand new Euro-style restaurant and bar has opened in Surry Hills and, if you're a fan of hearty feeds, you'll want to make tracks to it stat. Located on Bourke Street, Beast & Co boasts a cosy dining room, filled with natural light, as well as plenty of outdoor seating. Coming out of the kitchen are modern dishes inspired by traditional eastern European recipes as an ode to the owner's Czech grandmothers, with a focus on local, seasonal produce.
On weekends throughout summer, you can book you and your mates in for a bottomless brunch, held from 11am–3pm. For $49 a head, expect share plates of baked pumpkin, chicken liver pate and beef tartare, plus a choice of main — think crispy pork belly and twice-cooked chicken breast. For an extra $30, you can opt for endless bellinis, Aussie craft beer or house wine to go with your feast, too. And, if you can't wait for the weekend, Beast & Co is open for dinner Tuesday–Sunday, as well as for lunch on Fridays. And spritz fans, make sure you head there for happy hour from 4–6pm Tuesday–Sunday to grab one for just a tenner. Yep, there's a whole lot to love about this charming Czech spot.
Beast & Co is open 4pm–late Tuesday–Thursday, from 12pm–late Fridays, 11am–late Saturdays and 11am–10pm Sundays. To book yourself a spot, head here.
