Sydney's dining scene is always buzzing — but now, there's an even better reason to head out for a meal. Uber Eats's Dine Out feature, designed to help you enjoy local restaurants while keeping a little more cash in your pocket, is dialling up the discounts in a serious way this month.
From Friday, October 3, to Sunday, November 9, you can score 50 percent off your total bill (up to a capped amount) at some of the city's best-loved venues. And while the app has long been a go-to for delivery, delivery starts with thriving restaurants. That's why uber Eats is extending its support to in-person dining, helping Sydneysiders experience their favourite spots firsthand while giving local businesses a boost.
You'll be able to take advantage of this offer at restaurants throughout the city, including all-day Randwick hang-out Bat Country, neighbouring tapas bar Del Punto, Double Bay's elegant Mediterranean wine bar Bibo and Newtown prosciutteria PorkaTroya.
That's just the beginning. If you're in a fine-dining mood (but not in the mood for fine-dining prices), nab a table at NEL and have your bill slashed by up to $200. Other favourites — like underground cocktail cantina Centro 86, Redfern noodle diner Island Radio and Surry Hills hotspot Don't Tell Aunty — are also getting in on the action, giving you plenty of excuses to revisit old favourites, or perhaps discover new ones.
Redeeming your deal couldn't be easier. Simply open the Uber Eats app, head to the Dine Out section, and tap 'Claim' to access your offer. Just be sure to show your voucher when it's time to pay the bill — all you need to do is sit back and enjoy your meal knowing you've scored a killer discount.
