Explore one of Japan's most impressive art collections at the Nezu Museum. Focused on pre-modern works from across Japan and East Asia, it holds more than 7400 artifacts ranging from ink paintings and bronze statues to folding screens. The museum is a work of art itself, with legendary Japanese architect Kengo Kuma leading a 2009 redesign that includes bamboo-clad walls, high ceilings and glass walls. Once you've finished inside, take a peaceful stroll through the private garden which houses tea houses, a bamboo grove and a waterfall then head back to the onsite NEZUCAFÉ for a matcha and sweet treat.
