Yang Guo Fu Ma La Tang - CLOSED
This choose-your-own hot pot stand is an entertaining enigma.
Overview
On the hunt for a little novelty with your nosh? This inconspicuous Dixon House eatery holds the key. There are no signs or instructions on site, so let this be your guide. Build your own bowl by choosing the base ingredients — handmade noodles, vegetables and a variety of mystery meats — and hand it over to be cooked. Your creation is returned to you filled with a boiling broth to which you can then add a selection of sauces. The garlic and sesame pastes add richness, and even spice lovers should be careful with the extra spicy Schezuan chilli oil. Cost is based on weight, so how much you spend is dependent on how much self-control you muster, but you should expect change from a twenty.
